Cold calling campaigns

Run cold calling as a pitch bont channel — set up a reusable calling profile, choose Agency or Manual mode, and hand calls into the dedicated task queue.

Cold calling is one of pitch bont's outreach channels, alongside email, LinkedIn, and letter. You can run it on its own or mix it into a multi-channel sequence.

Set up a cold calling profile

A cold calling profile is a reusable brief for our calling partner. Create one at Settings → App Settings → Campaigns → "Cold calling profiles". Fields:

  • Profile name — how you reference the brief.
  • Target of call — Book meeting with customer, Send additional material, or Other.
  • Company description — a short description of your company.
  • Additional information for cold calling — anything the caller should know.
  • Link for meeting booking — where a booked meeting should land.

Add cold calling to a campaign

In the campaign config, tick Cold Calling as an outreach channel, then choose:

  • Cold calling mode — Agency (our calling partner makes the calls) or Manual (your team calls).
  • Cold call trigger — All leads, or only Engaged leads.

A cold-calling-only campaign has no digital email/LinkedIn step sequence. Cold calling is a paid-plan feature, and Agency mode may require a specific plan — if it's unavailable, only Manual shows.

Work cold calling tasks

Manual mode is disabled by default. An admin or owner enables it under Settings → App Settings → Company Info → Enable manual cold calling. Calls then appear under the dedicated Manual cold calling navigation item, with List and Kanban views, call logging, follow-up dates, notes, history, filters and cancellation tools. See Working manual cold-calling tasks.

Outcomes and statuses

Our calling partner reports the result of each call, which maps to a lead status and substatus. If a lead can't be reached, the substatus is "Phone unavailable" and the status becomes "Could not contact". Other outcomes include meeting booked, material requested, forwarded to another person, interested later, not interested, competitor, and wrong/left company.
