Capturing emails into your CRM
Email Capture gives you a private capture address — forward or BCC email to it and bont files it into your CRM for you.
Email Capture gets email into your CRM without connecting a mailbox. bont gives you a private capture address; anything you forward or BCC to it is captured and filed against the right record for you.
The feature is enabled per workspace — if you don't see it, ask your workspace admin whether it's turned on for your account.
Activate your capture address
- Open Settings → Personal Integrations and find the Email Capture card.
- Choose Activate capture address. This creates your own private address.
- Verify it: use Send verification email or Generate verification code and follow the instructions. Until then the address shows as Unverified.
Once it's Verified and Active, forward an email to the address or put it in BCC — for example when you send a proposal from your own mailbox. bont captures the message and matches it to the contact, company or deal it belongs to.
Reviewing what was captured
Captured emails are classified automatically. Ones bont isn't confident about land in Emails to review, where each entry shows as Needs review until you link it to the right record or dismiss it. From there the entry becomes Associated, Dismissed or Deleted.
Managing the address
- Pause / Resume — stop capturing without losing the address.
- Rotate address — replace the address with a new one; the old one stops working.
- Revoke address — disable it for good.
Because the address is yours and per-user, rotating or revoking it doesn't affect your teammates' capture addresses.
