Saved views

Save the filters, toggles and search of a CRM table as a reusable view — keep it private or share it with your workspace.

A saved view remembers the state of a table — its column filters, toggles and search — so you can come back to the same slice of data in one click. They live on base bont's Contacts, Companies, Pipeline and Activities tables.

Save a view

  1. Set the table up the way you want it: filter the columns, adjust the toggles, type a search.
  2. Choose Save view.
  3. Give it a name — something like "High-value Q3 deals".
  4. Pick the visibility: Private (only you can see and use it) or Shared (everyone in the workspace can use it).
  5. Check Filters included — it lists the search and filters the view will remember. If it says "No filters, this view shows every record", you saved the table unfiltered.

Switch between views

The view selector groups what's available: Default (All contacts, All companies, All deals, All activities), My views and Shared views. A view that differs from its saved state is marked Modified — save it again to keep the change, or use Save as new view to keep both.

Managing your views

  • Duplicate — copy a view and adjust the copy.
  • Copy link — share a pointer to a shared view with a teammate.
  • Edit view — rename it or change its visibility.
  • Delete — removing a shared view removes it for everyone who uses it, and cannot be undone.

You can't change a shared view you don't own — bont tells you so instead of silently editing it. If someone deletes a view you had open, it reports that the view no longer exists.

Who can use it

The Saved views capability in Roles and access controls these views, together with the lists synced from a connected CRM. It splits into three levels:

  • View saved views — pick shared views and your own on the Contacts, Companies, Pipeline and Activities tables, and see the synced CRM lists when building a campaign.
  • Save and edit own views — save a view as private or shared, then rename, update or delete the ones you created.
  • Manage shared views — rename, update and delete shared views created by other people.

By default, viewing and saving your own views are granted to owners, admins and members; managing shared views is reserved for owners and admins. Hiding one of those four tables under Pages hides its views with it.
