I can't log in and MFA problems
Step through the most common reasons login fails — wrong password, unverified email, MFA device lost, browser blocking cookies — and how to resolve each.
Start with the obvious
- Password typo — try once more carefully. If a password manager is filling, force it to reveal the value and check.
- Wrong email — confirm you registered with this exact address (work vs. personal).
- Email not verified — bont blocks login until the confirmation link is clicked. See Verifying your email address.
Forgot the password
Use Forgot password? on the Login tab — see Resetting a forgotten password.
MFA issues
- Code rejected — TOTP codes are time-based; check your phone's clock is set to automatic.
- Lost the device — ask a workspace admin to clear MFA on your account, then re-register from Setting up MFA.
- "Remember this device" not sticking — third-party-cookie blockers wipe it. Allow cookies for
app.bont.ai.
