Configuring a sending schedule
Tell pitch bont when sends go out — weekdays, time-of-day windows, timezone, and exclusion dates like public holidays.
A sending schedule controls when pitch bont actually dispatches touches. Defining one stops your prospects getting cold emails at 03:00 their local time and your sender domain looking suspicious to ESPs.
Where it lives
Two places:
- Workspace default — Settings → Sending schedule. Applies to every campaign that doesn't override.
- Per-campaign — in the campaign builder under the Schedule section. Overrides the default for that campaign only.
What to set
- Weekdays — Mon–Fri by default; toggle Saturday / Sunday if your motion actually performs on weekends (most don't).
- Time window — e.g. 08:00–17:00. Sends evenly spread across the window so arrivals don't bunch up.
- Timezone — the recipient's, not yours. pitch bont uses the lead's CRM timezone if available, otherwise falls back to the workspace default.
- Excluded dates — public holidays, blackout periods. pitch bont skips them entirely.
