Connecting your LinkedIn account
Wire your personal LinkedIn account to pitch bont so campaigns can send connection requests, InMails and view-profile touches.
pitch bont's LinkedIn integration is per-user — each rep connects their own LinkedIn so the outreach comes from a real person, not a brand account. The integration powers connection requests, InMails and "view profile" touches as steps in a campaign sequence.
Open the connect flow
In pitch bont, open Settings → Integrations → Personal Integrations and find the LinkedIn card. Click Connect.
What pitch bont needs
pitch bont uses a dedicated LinkedIn session proxy that logs into your account with your credentials, then runs touches on your behalf:
- Email + password (or SSO equivalent).
- Approval of a one-time security check from your phone / authenticator.
The session stays alive as long as LinkedIn doesn't invalidate it. If it expires, pitch bont pauses LinkedIn steps and asks you to reconnect.
Best practices
- Use a real account — burner accounts get banned fast.
- Respect daily limits — pitch bont enforces conservative caps; see Sending limits.
- Personalise — generic connection requests are the quickest way to a Restricted Account warning.
Free and premium accounts
Free LinkedIn accounts can be used for invitation-only campaign outreach. LinkedIn does not allow a message to be attached to those invitations. Accounts with the relevant premium capability can use the additional LinkedIn touches available to them.
One connection per account
The same LinkedIn account cannot be connected more than once in one workspace or connected across two workspaces. If bont says the account is already connected, disconnect it from the previous workspace before trying again.
Troubleshooting
- Reconnect needed — pitch bont pauses your LinkedIn steps and surfaces a Reconnect badge. Click it and re-approve.
- Restricted account — slow down. Pause LinkedIn campaigns for a few days, then resume with lower caps.
