1. Start the Google Workspace Integration

  1. Go to Settings ⚙️ → Integrations.

  2. Find the Google Workspace card and click “Configure”.

2. Enable at the Organization Level

  • An alert appears explaining access requirements:

    “This integration requests each of your organization members to sign in via their Google accounts. Once they approve bont to connect… we will use account‐related email and calendar data as communication signals.”

  • Click the “Enable” button.

3. Individual User Authorization

After enabling, each team member will see a prompt to connect their Google Workspace account when they next log in:

  1. Choose an Account

    • Select your Google Workspace email from the list (or click “Use another account”).

  2. Review Permissions
    bont.ai will request to:

    • 📧 View your email messages and settings

    • 📅 View events on all your calendars

  3. Click “Allow”

    • Confirm you trust bont.ai by clicking “Allow” to grant access.

🔒 Privacy Note: You can revoke access anytime via your Google Account > Security > Third-party apps.

📅 Emails & Calendar Events: Emails and calendar events from the past 90 days are synced automatically. In some cases, if you have too many emails, it's possible that only the past 60 or 30 days can by synced.

4. What’s Next?

  • Email & calendar events from Google Workspace will now power your communication score and provide signals for each of your customers.

  • Visit your Accounts page or open individual accounts to see updated scores and individual signals!

  • Try clicking AI based Summary on an individual account page to generate a summary of all available data (Deal, CRM, Communication, Document data, etc.)

Pro Tips & Troubleshooting 🛠️

  • Delayed Prompt to Log in? Ask users to refresh or log out and back in to trigger the Google authorization flow.

  • Multiple Domains? Ensure your Google Workspace admin has whitelisted bont.ai in the Admin Console > Security settings.

  • Check Connection: Once authorized, head back to Integrations—you should see a green ✅ next to Google Workspace.
